The Cat’s Meow of Gifts

They say there are two kinds of people: dog people and cat people. Personally, I feel like I am just a pet person; however, I currently own one dog with no plans of giving him a sibling anytime soon.
My dog is definitely my baby and I would do anything to guarantee he is safe and happy at all times. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for my precious little boy. Though he does not approve of it, I even have a Facebook page and personal blog dedicated to his adventures and antics. (I guess maybe I am a “dog person”).
While I’m finally admitting that I am a crazy dog lady, this doesn’t mean I don’t have a soft spot for the feline species. A very dear friend of mine has two adorable cats that I adore. These cats are her world, so much so, that I make it a point to send her a daily dose of giggles, involving random pictures of cats paired up with some hilarious caption. Being the dedicated cat person that she is, these pictures provide her with a good laugh, which hopefully brings a smile to her face during a busy workday.
On a larger scale, her self-proclaimed crazy cat lady status also makes finding her a gift, easy as pie; basically, anything cat related will do! Here are a few crazy cat person-approved gift ideas to help feed their feline obsession for any special occasion or milestone.
Cats are unique creatures; they have a, “don’t call us, we’ll call you,” type of attitude, they cherish their independence, and love to be in your business at the most inopportune times–but that’s what we love about them. Celebrate their love for this four-legged animal, with this, The More I Learn About People, The More I Love Cats, sign. This sign is perfect for anyone who has more than three cats and finds themselves staying in on a Friday night.
Help them ring in the New Year, with this Can I Has Cheezburger? 2013 Daily Calendar. This hilarious calendar features some of the Web’s funniest and craziest cat pictures, keeping them entertained for 365 days.
By now there are probably tons of little cat hairs on their clothes, on their furniture, and accidentally in their food, so what’s a little fur in their drink, too? Make sure their beverages get in on the action, with this Cat Ice Cube Tray. Now every drink will taste and look purrfect.
As the saying goes, “It’s raining cats and dogs.” Well, this time you can omit the cat part, because this adorable Cat Umbrella will keep them covered from the rain (probably not from dogs though).
